Cafe offers new menu items

Brick Street Books & Cafe is pleased to announce the addition of a few tasty new items to our menu.

Every Wednesday in May we will be serving homemade pulled pork on fresh Ciabatta buns from Brick Street Bakery and a side of pasta salad. Drink included for $6.50!

Staring in May, we will have fresh brewed tea daily. As the weather heats up, come cool down with a glass!

We now have homemade egg salad available each day for sandwiches and wraps. Add a dollop of egg salad to take our delicious sandwiches and wraps to the next level!

Last but not least, we happily serve Cookies n' Cream frappes. Try one with or without coffee. A wonderful treat for a warm afternoon!

Vida Sisters to play at Plain Talk

Plain Talk is excited to host the wonderful sounds of the Vida Sisters on Saturday, April 28 at 12 pm.

The Vida Sisters, Bobbie Vida Van Roekel (vocals) and AnnaLyn Vida (vocals/guitar), are from Manilla, Philippines, and cite a wide range of musical influences. They describe their music as a mix R & B, country, rock, ballads, jazz and Latin flair.

We'll be out on the patio, if weather allows, slinging sandwiches and coffee at the same time. Come get your brunch on and listen to some good tunes!
