RFTC’s Merton Abbey Arts & Crafts Room

Raccoon Forks Trading Co. is proud to present its new Merton Abbey Arts & Crafts Room, specializing in furniture, decorative items, and other antiques, from the British and American Arts & Crafts Movements. In 1881, William Morris, the visionary leader of the British Arts and Crafts Movement, purchased the seven-acre site at Merton Abbey in Southern London, which became home to Morris & Co.’s workshops for their dyeworks, textile printing, and fabric, tapestry, and carpet-weaving. RFTC’s Merton Abbey room is dedicated to preserving the history and essence of Morris’ vision and to make the movement's fine craftsmanship available to our customers.
